Retail Therapy!!
Let me tell you, as these cold, cloudy days drag on and on, I am just waiting for spring to arrive! I’m ready for sunshine, flip flops, and carefree summer days. For some reason, my thoughts keep going back this sundeck…
and this kids’ bedroom…
both just waiting for me to bring them home from Canada! Come on, spring!!
Now I know I said we were focusing on gaining experiences and not STUFF, and that remains true, but I have been dreaming about how to make these spaces comfy and cozy and our OWN. I really think this sign would help…
We will repurpose many things from our house on the boat, but there are some areas where we’ll HAVE TO add some new goodies in order to get it just right!
I’ve developed a habit (like I’m sure many of you have) of saving millions some of my favorite things to my shopping cart while online shopping, or just taking pictures of items in the store with my cell phone. Both of these techniques give me a chance to let Mike talk me out of buying this crazy cute stuff think about and compare items to make sure I choose just the right things.

And don’t you think Hayley just NEEDS to have this in her bedroom?! What little lady could pass on this magical mermaid to help her drift off to dreamland?!
So… please send me your favorite decor ideas to check out! I’m going with a blue/white nautical theme throughout (I think?!).
